How do we approach reviews?

We ensure that our reviews are always authentic and from players who have actually played our escape games.

You won't find any fake consumer reviews on our website. How do we achieve this?

We verify reviews

Games can only be reviewed on our website in two ways:

1. Players review a specific game (product) on our e-shop
2. Players review the game via a form in our app after playing the game

 

We want the reviews placed on our website to be from actual players who have played our specific game. For this reason, reviews need to be verified, to prevent not only potential spam but also to ensure the trustworthiness and authenticity of the ratings. After all, this is also mandated by the amendment to the Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code. 

In the first method of submitting a review, we therefore ascertain whether the person in question has actually played or at least launched or ordered the game. 

Given that the second method of reviewing a game is only available to players after playing the game, there is no need for us to question the authenticity and trustworthiness of this rating (review). However, we publish these reviews, due to GDPR, only after explicit consent from players following our email request.

Publication of reviews

Based on the principles mentioned above, the publication of individual reviews on our website is not automatic. Both methods require a certain degree of administration. Although we would like to automate as many processes as possible in the future, for the time being we are forced to publish your reviews at irregular intervals, manually. For this reason, player reviews are not published immediately, but there is a certain time delay.

How do we handle negative reviews?

To a small and hopefully reasonable extent, we only want to filter spam, fake reviews, and we will not publish outright vulgar comments, should we receive any in the future.

However, we do not shy away from constructive criticism; there is always room for improvement, and we certainly do not censor any negative reviews!
