Meet our escape games

Engaging Story | Útěkáři.cz - outdoor escape games with a story

Our games, in terms of their task and riddle-solving nature, resemble indoor escape games, which most of you probably know or have at least heard about. However, the main goal of indoor escape games is to escape from enclosed spaces. This is precisely where the similarity with our games ends.

Outdoor escape games...

Our outdoor escape games, you see, take place under the open sky. So, there's no need to escape to the fresh air. You'll face a different challenge. This primarily involves successfully unraveling a variety of tasks with plenty of riddles, ciphers, and logic puzzles.

To overcome all the plot's pitfalls, you'll need not only wit but also attention, creativity, and the ability to cooperate.

... with a story

Thematic tasks are set within an engaging story, which is interwoven with many interesting facts and historical details, although we also like to use elements of mystification. For our games, we create complex stories with multiple scenarios, allowing for multiple answers, and the reactions of individual characters differ based on your answers.

We have made sure to lend a faithful character to the figures you will encounter in the story. Our aim is to draw players into the plot. The depth of the story provides players with broader contexts about the given location (e.g., historical) where the outdoor escape game takes place. We ensure that the thematic tasks blend with the genius loci of the selected location.

In short, in our escape games, you can discover iconic, lesser-known, and mysterious places from a different perspective, and in an entertaining way to boot.

In our games, we don't use any extraneous objects (boxes, locks, etc.) placed in hidden, often unexpected places; we skillfully rely on rich architectural elements and other objects that thematically fit into the entire story. These can be statues, decorative facade elements, house signs, information boards, locksmith objects, loopholes in fortification defenses, and many, many more...

Who are the escape games for?

Outdoor escape games are for all playful and curious people. Since the games are full of tasks and ciphers, adults will definitely enjoy them. However, individual tasks should be manageable without problems even by high school students, and we believe also by most clever children in the second stage of elementary schools. Younger children (age 10+) can, of course, be taken along for a nice walk, but it is important to remember that they will probably only be able to participate partially, for example, in simpler tasks.

Don't be afraid of our tasks and riddles!

We won't test your knowledge of history, art, or cryptographic methods used in cryptography. Common sense, creative thinking, and a bit of imagination will suffice. If we surprise you with a task and you don't know what to do, don't worry. Our smart hint will help you. Don't worry, we won't reveal the whole solution right away. With each partial hint, we'll just push you in the right direction until we reveal everything.

Ideal number of players

With our games, more than anywhere else, it holds true that more heads are better than one, so we recommend playing the game with at least two people. Ideally 2 to 6 players. If there are even more of you, then consider dividing into multiple teams. This way, you can spice up the game with the option to compete against each other. However, if you are an inseparable group, it's no problem, the number of players is not systemically limited. You can play the game simultaneously on a theoretically unlimited number of devices. But if you want to split into multiple teams, you need to purchase the game separately for each team.
