Vyšehrad Fortress

OUTDOOR ESCAPE GAME, PRAGUE

Story of the outdoor escape game:

Let the Vyšehrad Fortress outdoor escape game draw you into the 18th century, when Vyšehrad served as a Baroque fortress for a military garrison.

At that time, the Czech lands were part of the Habsburg Monarchy, ruled with a seemingly firm hand by Emperor Charles VI. The inhabitants of Prague were still recovering from the last plague, so there was not much reason for joy.

Under these circumstances, can you step into the unknown and lend a helping hand to a complete stranger?

Can you save his life without losing your own?

Your decision might have a much greater impact than you realize…

Escape Room Story

We will take you back almost 300 years, when Vyšehrad served as a Baroque fortress for a military garrison.

At that time, the Czech lands were part of the Habsburg Monarchy, ruled with a seemingly firm hand by Emperor Charles VI. The inhabitants of Prague were still recovering from the last plague epidemic, and there was little cause for joy.

Some found a recipe for chasing away their daily blues in local pubs. The pub "U Černého vola" (At the Black Ox) is one of the most renowned, and that's where you ended up yesterday evening. Old Prague was never short of various eccentrics, but this pub seemed to attract them particularly. The relaxed atmosphere and boisterous merriment that initially prevailed here vanished the moment you were approached by an unknown man with a distressing plea for help. Pure despair radiated from his eyes. He kept repeating that his life was at stake. He claimed that if you helped him, you wouldn't regret it. Given his persistent insistence, you promised to lend a hand once you had slept on it. With this assurance, the eccentric's eyes suddenly lit up; he instantly thrust a crumpled piece of paper into your hand and, with thanks on his lips, quickly disappeared.

This was the crowning touch to the unusual situation!

Wasn't it rather rash to offer help to this eccentric? Especially in these times, when a person's fate can turn against them so quickly? And often for far lesser reasons!

What now? How will you decide?

Will you help a stranger in need during such difficult times? Will you risk your life to save another?
